Use Your Ride #1, 4hrs. of BSA riding before Vancouver gets blanketed with snow, comp test

My riding tips that have kept me safe in traffic med-high speed stuff. Following distance allows brisk acceleration and early warning of trouble ahead. . It’s you vs the cages never forget at times you must drive offensively and even get aggressive with the traffic if required, a motorbike rider that flinches invites auto driver abuse and lane crowding like me getting lost. Thrown your arm signals with purpose and obvious direction to surrounding cars. They then have to decide as you glance back and you know that individual is aware of your intentions. Some cars will speed up and deny some will allow you in and secure a safe spot for your next move. Throwing the under arm slowing signal with palm open will also give a driver movement and readjust their attention to you on the bike. I throw more than 20 signals during the clip if not far more, the cam and my head moves only for shoulder checks and some practice to see cam view. . A truck would not let me in so I had to exit after bridge diverting me a further 20 minutes so otherwise had a good day running errands for the shop and BSA gasket order to Sweden. 21st year riding this 441 year round if able, none of my riding pals from back then still ride or have the same bike being used these days. Gotta wonder why when you can have this much fun everyday. . A wrong turn leads to 3 more! safe speeds near freezing weather and as I type there is now 4″ of snow if not more where this was filmed! to say the least I am upset I can

How to ride a Motorcycle on ice and snow

This video shows my own techniques for riding my BMW K1100 LT Motorcycle on ice and snow. They’ve kept me safe all these years. I don’t use any special tyres, just normal road tyres, however I do lower the tyre pressure. I normally run with around 40psi, but I drop it down to around 33psi for these conditions. I’m a Medical Despatch Rider so I don’t have the option of taking a car to work. And if I don’t ride, I don’t get paid. If you decide to use any of the advice in the video or this description, you do so at your own risk! Just take it slow and smooth and you’ll be ok. Have fun and stay safe! www.madstu.net Become a fan of motorcycling: www.facebook.com
